The Design:
Two open oval loops interlock at the centre of this necklace, each one outlined in small round brilliant cut diamonds set in a continuous pavé line along the metal. Where the chain meets each loop, the setting breaks into a cluster of mixed cuts — a princess cut square, a pear, a slim marquise and a scatter of graduated rounds — arranged like petals falling away from the ring. The loops are open through the middle, so the linked shapes stay light and the pavé lines catch the eye against bare skin. It hangs from a fine cable chain that attaches directly to the top of each oval.
